Use of the Site
The user declares to accept the conditions established by ALBA when visiting the company website or purchasing the products available.
The General Conditions of Use of the site may be updated without prior notice. Therefore, users are advised to consult them periodically.
The products and services available on this site may be changed or discontinued without prior notice.
Th main purposes of the ALBA site are the sale of products and the provision of online advice. In this sense, ALBA shall only be responsible for the information concerning the products and services provided, as included on this site. Therefore, users will be solely and exclusively responsible for any visits to other sites enabled by the hyperlinks inserted into the ALBA site, as well as any actions performed.
Users shall be required to provide accurate data when placing orders, such as to allow their fast, correct processing.
 
Use of Information
All information collected can be used for the following purposes:
Creation of a personalised user experience – your information will allow us to meet your needs more effectively.
Site improvement – we seek to improve our offer of products and advice based on user demand.
Improving client service – user information allows us to respond more effectively to client requests and needs.
Transaction processing – your information, whether public or private, will not be shared with any third parties without your consent, excluding the information required for delivering the products ordered.
Communication of events, promotions, surveys and other site information.
Periodic e-mailing – ALBA may use the e-mail address provided to send you information concerning your orders, occasional news, updates, and product, service and other information. If you wish to stop receiving these e-mails, consult the instructions provided at the end of each e-mail.
 

Data Protection
ALBA has implemented a series of security measures on this site, such as to ensure the security of your personal information whenever you place orders or insert, change or access your personal data.

Sharing of Information with Third Parties
We do not sell, share or transfer your personal data to third parties. These entities do not include the companies responsible for maintaining our website or transporting our products, provided that they observe our confidentiality agreement.
Personal data may be provided when justified, namely if we are required to collaborate with legal authorities.

Orders
The site is updated on a regular basis, in order to ensure that all information, namely concerning product prices, descriptions and availability, is correct. Any eventual changes will be made without prior notice.
ALBA reserves the right to refuse to deliver any products, based on suitable grounds, namely the following: incorrect information concerning products, prices or promotions; product unavailability; missing payment or inability to confirm that payment has been made; fraudulent orders; changes in relationships with suppliers; and inability to deliver due to excessive weight or volume.
Should any problems arise in connection with your order, we will contact you through the telephone number or e-mail address included in your client file.

Invoicing and Delivery Charges
Delivery charges vary from region to region and are calculated at checkout based on the address entered by the client. Delivery charges may be changed without prior notice. Delivery may be free over certain periods, which will be defined according to company policies. Insurance is not included.

Delivery to Islands
Delivery to islands shall be made to the respective sea ports, following prior consultation. The client shall be responsible for product collection and all associated expenses.
Insurance is not included.
 

Availability and Delivery Deadlines
Expected availability and delivery deadlines are indicated at checkout. These deadlines vary from product to product and may be changed without prior notice. Shipping periods must be added to the expected delivery deadlines.

Equipment Installation, Safety and Handling
ALBA shall not be responsible for the incorrect installation of any equipment marketed or for any losses or damages resulting from the respective use. Equipment installation is the exclusive responsibility of clients and must always be performed by qualified technicians, according to all legal standards and the instructions included in equipment manuals, in order to ensure equipment quality and, most importantly, complete safety. Please contact us if any equipment manual is lost or missing.
ALBA seeks to ensure the safety of all clients and users of the products marketed. Therefore, we advise our clients to read the instruction manual carefully before installing and/or using any equipment. Always follow the indications included in the instruction manual, such as to ensure safety and prevent material damages.  

Payment Methods
The prices shown include VAT (if applicable), at the legal rate.
Payments can be made using the Multibanco Reference (via IFTHENPAY) or by Bank Transfer. If you choose one of these methods, payments can be made through the Multibanco ATM network or Home Banking services. 
Your order will only be sent after payment has been received, irrespective of the payment method used.

Order Cancellation and Returns
Returns will only be accepted if the products are undamaged, complete, not deteriorated, unused, and returned in the original packages, which must also be undamaged and complete. Returns will not be accepted if these requirements are not met. We will only accept returns up to 14 days after the date of reception of the product by the client.
The client will be responsible for all return expenses, which will only be refunded if the reason for return falls under the responsibility scope of ALBA (e.g. in case of defective products).
Reimbursement of any amounts paid by clients will only be made after product condition has been confirmed. Refunds will be paid through the payment method used by the client. If the payment has been made using the Multibanco Reference, we will need you to contact us by e- mail, on geral@projectoalba.pt, and provide us with our bank account data (IBAN and BIC/SWIFT).

Resolution of Disputes
Should any dispute occur, consumers may resort to an Alternative Consumer Dispute Resolution Entity.
